okay, so things are still progressing! we have been working on our support letter, and hopefully we will be done with that this weekend. also, our support address is African Bible Colleges, P.O. Box 103 Clinton, MS 39060.

a carton goes out the end of April, so we have started thinking about what we will send on it. bech would like to send out some art supplies, and i am going to go ahead and send towels and sheets, etc. i keep trying to think of things i will need or want over there, but might not think of now. i am definately going to pack a cake mix for bechs birthday (can't get that there), stockings for christmas, and maybe some christmas wrapping paper. but if anyone has any packing suggestions, please let me know!

I beg to differ!!! I only blog when I get bored. And after you left I didn't exactly have much else to do except homework and watch tv until today.

Just found you via LizAnne, who I was at church with when we both lived in Chatta . . . Last time I was packing [before packing for where I live now, that is] was for a 6-month stay in Zambia, so I may have some suggestions. I'm excited for you!

ok, a few thoughts [keep in ming my job as a home schooling teacher for elementary students]:
--stickers [light to travel with, and kids always love them!]
--take clothes that you can give away if/when you leave
--water purifier if you'll be in a village
--baby wipes [sometimes bathing is difficult]
--take some of your favorite foods: chances are, you won't be able to find them and, if you can, they will be very expensive

that's all i can think of at the moment . . .
