This girl has made an impression on me...

Since Marley and I are leaving for Malawi in August, we need to find a permanent home for our dog and cat!  This post is about our dog, Juno, whom we named after Ellen Page's hilarious character in the movie bearing that same name.
Juno is a beautiful, energetic short-haired German Pointer.  Juno came home with us from the Humane Society about three months ago, when she was already six months old.  Even though we couldn't have her as a tiny puppy, I knew I wanted her the moment I saw her. Juno has a brilliant white coat dappled with chocolate brown spots.
She is our first dog and has made quite an impression upon me!  Not only has Juno changed the rhythm of our life, she has influenced some of my ceramic work.  She inspired the vigorous, muscular rims on some of my plates and platters.  Every day this dog fills our home with the beauty of creation.

Juno has already had all of her necessary shots, and will be spayed in a couple of weeks.

Juno is adorable! I want to let you know that Errol and I have been talking a lot about taking her in for you. We are planning to get the yard fenced in next month, and I think it wold be heaven for an energetic dog! I want you to know, too, that we are totally open to just dog-sitting and returning her to you at the end of the year if you desire. Let's get together and talk about it!

I'm so excited for you two to have this opportunity!
